Dual core / multiprocessor section

Does the subject in itself seem big enough to demand it`s own space ?

I`m thinking not processor dependant maybe - but something along the lines of a general dual/multi processor forum. Maybe a link in both AMD & Intel forums that points to the same place ?

(this is where some1 points to where it already exists >.< )

Well we have AMD processor and Intel processor sections. Not sure there's a whole lot of point with splitting them up

Ya I can understand what u mean.

I`m maybe thinking in terms of the techniques of a multiprocessor setup/install than amd/intel specific.

I know from first hand that if you don`t install windo$e and the processor drivers in a particular fashion, then it can leave your setup unstable - very much so I found. Couple with that affiliating cores to tasks or processes, quirks u can get away with where u maybe couldn`t with a single core. News of newer drivers.

Prehaps posting in the intel section would leave some1 who reads amd 90% of the time miss out on the discussion/info.
