dual boot back-up???

I have a dual boot 32 & 64 bit vista sp1... The thing is, whenever I decide to back-up the 32 bit (being on the 32 bit environment) it will only back-up the 32 bit which its not a problem to me.... Now, here's the problem if I am on 64 bit environment and decide to back-up, it will back-up the two operating system (32 bit & 64 bit) which is default that I can not change.... Is that normal?

By the way, I can see both operating system in either environment even though its on a different partition but on the same disk and I am only backing-up the computer (the C drive)....

Now that is strange, I didn`t figure the 64 would backup the 32 aswell.

How bizarre.

U sure it`s not just the 32bit components of the 64bit ur seeing ?

Yes I am positive, because in 64 environment it will see the C drive of 32 bit as D drive so its backing up two partition.

O.k. since I cannot change the way the 64 bit back-up the computer. Is it ok for me not to back-up the 32 bit since its being done on the other partition? Do you think I will not have any issue?

I think the only thing bad about it is whenever I decided to restore it will restore the other partition as well...

I think I figure it out what happen... Remember when I say "I see both operating system in both environment". Well, since I have the 32 bit first and my music is stored here my 64 bit end up using the music files of the 32 bit (the songs I have in 32 bit I ended up putting in wmp 64 profile) with me doing that it made the two partition as one on the 64 bit... Now as far as the 32 bit I am not borrowing any files from the 64 bit that its why whenever I back-up the 32 bit it will only back-up that partition..... I will be happy for you people to prove me wrong here though...

Now my question still stand, is it o.k. for me not to back-up the 32 bit since its getting done on the 64 bit? Will I not encounter any issue?
