does any body know of any good CAD program that is ether freeware or shareware? be nice if it was set up like Autocad (what we use at school) but i just need some thing i can draw detail plans with at home.

Autocad is a great program skooly, but way out of reach for many. Even the student version with a two year license is around $2000. Many of the freeware versions I have included are just as capable.

I would suggest Google Sketchup for quick drawings. It's a great little program
