Downloads Section?

Hi there all , sorry for posting this here as prv msg service is disabled for newcomers i guess :)

Davos has great post regarding most used programs , from overclocking to tweaks and benchmarks. But unfortunately most or all the links are dead. So my suggestion is to create a downloads section. I believe it will draw more users to this site.

I am willing to host the files as i have a 12GB space with 500gb bandwidth spare doing nothing.

We can put all the files , drivers etc there so it wont slow down SysXtremes main site at all.

hehe Kempez :) I wasnt looking for download section to download the files from you , i was offering space and bandwidth to keep the files for you guys , but anyway those who is working on the download section can also use my space as a mirror if you need to.
 
A section for downloads etc would be a great idea, especially for a novice like myself. Hope it gets the go ahead soon :)
 
Fragtek its looking good but why dont you use automated system which will make your job easier speacially when adding or removing downloads. I have already setup local installation on my test server last night. Script is free and powerfull. I ll post a screenshot of it if you want. This is just to save the hassle Fragtek dont get me wrong :)

Thanks for the reps guys , Kempez thats the spirit of SysXtreme , once you guys lead more will follow , dont worry. :)

cheers fellas should come in handy rather than having to hunt everywhere for the various files.

maybe even some tweaked bios'es for popular boards could come in handy!

Well we kinda have unlimited bandwidth and space so anything to do with performance / tweak / firmwares / bios / drivers i am sure we can host them.
 
Tec can you send the program straight to my email? Their site is buggered and says that it cant find the download....

Edit: Wow its coming along very nicely , if you need help uploading the files , or adding them to db let me know. I also have another 2 suggestions Fragtek ,

1 - if current layout is not good enough for you e.g the header and footer you can run the script inside the frame , as its 100% width and height it will fit in without editing anything. So you can have a nice header and footer and the script will load in the middle. :D

e.g downloads.html

2 - You can have the above html in www.sysxtreme.com and script will be loaded from your site so guests will still think they are in sysxtreme.com

e.g www.sysxtreme.com/downloads.php or downloads.html will load above html file and script will be loaded inside the frame so users never leave main site.
 
I just want to beat off subject for a second and recognize Tec for something that he does that more people need to do... and that's use the edit button!

Rather than triple posting he makes use of the button that most new members can't seem to find. Reps for you again!

Submitted CPU-Z in your site Fragtek which needs your auths. You should create me a user account so i can help you out with uploads :)
 
ive got a great file snatcher script if you want to nick files from other servers to put them on your new downloads page.

EDIT: Doesnt matter, I see theres one built into your upload section :D
