And the problems so far :(

Problem 1 - The bios keeps resetting itself, gonna try a new battery later one to see if it fixes it. So can only clock using clockgen

Problem 2 - Cant get a bootable iso working for my windows install

Problem 3 - ATI drivers are being ghay and wont load properly in win2k

Problem 4 - Directx has decided its in hiding mode so no 3dmark etc will run

All this and i havn't even got around to installing the mach 2 yet
 
It'll be good to see some hardcore dothan action here,what cpu is it and what flavour x800/850 ?
 
x800pro modded to x800xtpe

Unfortunately its only a 730 and i can't see it being upgraded for a while since i've currently got no job :(

Theres an awesome 780/p4gd1 bundle going on xs for a steal at the minute to :(
 
Dry ice or ln2 for gfx ? Try about 1.8/1.9v on gpu and 2.4/2.5v on mems,should see 700/650+.Have you got Hipro's mods on the ct479 ?
 
Dry ice for now, think i'll work up to ln2, plus may be hard on my own due to having to keep refilling etc.

Not bothered with Hipros mods not many people seemed to find much difference after doing them
 
Looking damn awesome :) maybe you should grab a partner though to help u when ur benching :) u cant have ur hands everywhere at once if anything goes wrong. Do keep its updated on this mind :) great to see some DICE runs inside the UK and on this forum !
 
Woot Winxp install finally sorted and into windows, early 3dm01 came at 17800 with stock speeds on cpu and gfx card. (bearing in mind cpu is only 1.6ghz).

Clocking the cpu is screwed till i sort the bios out since i cant clock from 133 to >250 in clockgen due to lack of agp locks that way :(

Also noticed i got about 600 points increase (from 17300) but using dual channel
 
Nice to know everythings up and running, no possible bios updates that might sort the problem ? im eager to see you smash my 01 score :)
 
730 seems fubared and wont post with either adaptor, got rid of the annoying boot reset thing by using another adaptor though but only got a celeron 350 at the minute which is 1.3ghz 400fsb and they seem to top out around 180mhz so no high speeds shall be achieved :(

No money for a new chip anytime soon either

Unlucky with the chip and also lack of funds for replacement.:(

Wish I had the knowledge and guts you guys have to try and do something like this!

Not sure my mums friends works for the british transplant society and recommended a place where he gets it from for transfering organs and said if i blag i'm with the hospital/student i should get some free which would be sweet. He can get LN2 aswell :D
