there's usually a square bit of metal that goes from one side of the door to the other. This sits into a recess on each side of the door. You sure this isnt worn away?

replacement jobby methinks. As soon as they start getting that loose, it's usually indicative that the internals are worn out, and a replacement handle would be the cheapest option.

Eh. Ill just wait it out then. I thought it would be something easy like just tighten something up. Getting a new house seems easier than wasting money on a new handle i wont use for long. Thanx anyways.

some of the handles have little allen key/screw holes on the sides, round knob on a square axel right? use that to tighten them up, at least thats what we have on our doors.

Can get a pic if it helps.

If that was the case i probably would have seen it. On second look though, no holes. Just knob comes outa hole to turn and thats it with 2 screws on the sides that keeps it all togther.
