Does accelero extreme plus 2 fit gtx 600 series?

So i used to have an accelero extreme plus on my gtx 470. I loved the cooler, really fantastic! Recently i sold it and bought a gtx660 from POV. This one:

Now i"m not really that happy with the stock cooler. I know an accelero extreme plus 2 is an overkill for a card with 140w tdp but i will use it in the future on some other card.
So i want to know is it compatibile? Oficcialy not but it has the backplate for the gtx600 and the part that doesn"t let you mount a normal accelero on a 660 is removed. So it should fit. I don"t wan"t to waste money on an extreme 3.

You DO realise thats his own thread... right? and that thread is about modding the bigger brother of the cooler in question here and not about if this cooler would fit... Next time, herpa derp derp.

@op, i have no idea, have you tried emailing them and asking? they sometimes know if its a yes/no on non reference cards.

Hahhahah you linked me to my own thread. EPIC.
I ordered an accelero plus 2, it MUST fit, i looked at unboxings and pictures. It"s exactly the same as the extreme 3 that does oficcialy fit , they removed the little pard that doesn"t let accelero one to fit and it does have a needed backplate. It will arrive at monday and i"ll post pictures.

They didn"t reply on my mail. Witch is normal, they want us to buy extreme 3. It"s exactly the same but more expensive... Pigs.

performs fantastic, 22-25 idle, 42 BF3 max temp. And she"s overclocked.
