Hi Guys,

is there anyone on the forum that has a GTX 570 with a Accelero Extreme plus ii cooler on it?

This cooler dropped my Load temps from 77-80c with stock cooler and stock fan profiles to 44-48c with the Accelero Extreme plus ii cooler on it?.

Lastnight i was running a slight overclock of 830MHZ and 1.0V.
The temps did not change at all.

Unigine Heaven benchmark on extreme i got a smidge over 800.
STD clocks see 750.

Not a 570, but I did have a HD5870 with one of those coolers. Overclocked the core to 1000MHz from 850 and the memory from 1200 to 1350. Temps were well below 60c under full load and the cooler on full load was quieter than the stock cooler on idle. Money well spent, i'd recommend them to anyone. Only thing I didn't like was how the cooler was 3 slots and quite heavy, made my card warp a little bit due to the weight.

You have to bond everything on now too which means if the card breaks you cant RMA.

A lot of fooking about IMHO. The ref 570 cooler is mega quiet though? (oem one)

Yeah that's what puts me off of Arctic's GPU solutions completely tbh. The fact that you have to stick things on with epoxy and then have a cooler that is not supported (by weight) and will bend your card.

I remember being back on OCUK's forum a while back and VTX3D were selling a really cheap tacky 7970 . Loads of people bought it and bought the Accelero Xtreme and then a couple of months in quite a few cards just stopped working and it turned out they had bent sufficiently to crack the BGA solder under the GPU and they were screwed for warranty.

What cracked me up the most though was how they had spent in total what they could have bought a Windforce card for.

I dunno, some people eh? love to bugger with things instead of taking the sensible safe option.
