Well, I have teh space for a CRT, so hell, why not get one :rollingla.

I guess TFT's are for people with uber small rooms/desks?

And for people that enjoy the clarity and crispness that a fully digital interface provides.

They don't literally last forever... but u get my picture They last a long fucking time, rofl.

And technically no a TFT will never beat a CRT for gaming (ie ghosting on a tft) but I personally think games look more vivid on a TFT.

crts have larger screen size 17 inch is actually 16 but nvm, in malta crt 19" 95 hz at 1024*768 is at lm 120 a tft 17" 14 ms response time and max reoltion 1024*768 is lm 155

i have a tft for non gaming cause of the slow response time 28ms and my crt 19" for my amd

Ouch 28ms, that's almost as bad as the 32ms 15" tft I have hooked up to my sempro compy.

Yeah, I bet they are clearer, but with my luck mine will come with a few dead pixel's, or the panel will develop dead pixel's, and that would drive me mad. Small thing's like that friggin drive me crazy.

Then if that happened, I'd be like Pro-CRT for life. :rollingla

Mine hasn't given me any shit, I love it... I did have a pixel stuck on bright blue for a few hours one day but it fixed itself after a bit
