Hello, I've just recently had to build a new rig thanks to my new gtx770 not working in my old system due to the old motherboard being "too old". So I purchased a new Haswell system and decided to house it in my Antec 1200.
A few of my friends also brought Haswell recently and they all went with the Corsair H80i. Like an idiot I said "Mines Bigger!" and went with the H100i believing the videos on Youtube that you could "Barely" manage to fit it along the back double 120mm fan slots. Well you can but only on the T3 version but as I found out the T1(which is the one I have) they were using older spacing between the fans on the back. So to do the same I would have to drill extra holes into the case. So i thought I would try to get the H100i fitted at the front instead. The Antec 1200 has three 120mm fans in its front. Unfortunately the tubes connecting the CPU bracket to the Radiator aren't quite long enough to reach the front of the case.
Now I did manage to fit the H100i in but its about 80mm short of where the two original fans were seated but now the radiator fans have replaced the intake ones. Eventually I will be grabbing some more fans and setting up push/pull but the question I would appreciate some help on is whether that void from the dust filters to the H100i fans(approx 80mm) will cause any issues and whether I should fit another two fans where the original ones were.
I made a quick picture to hopefully show the situation.
Also due to the fact that tubes are running to the front they rest across the end of the 770. I have used good old string to pull them up away from it but are there any(preferably rubber as I thing harder materials will eventually degrade the tubes) stirrups or similar things that I can get instead?
Many thanks in advance.
