Dismantling a Freezer 7 Rev2.

Sat here looking at my Freezer 7 Rev.2 (crap I know, but it's only on a Phenom 9650 ATM), and I'm wondering if i melt the solder on the top of the heatpipes, whether I'd be able to pop all the fins off, fit the stock AMD cooler's v-shaped bracket over the middle heatpipe, then put the fins back on.

Would finally mean it blows front to back instead of top to bottom! But is it too crazy to work? Anyone else ever tried it?

proly can be done but I doubt it'll function as well why not just buy another cooler that rotates like the cooler master hyper212+ it can be mounted either direction. I couldnt find any good views of the freezer7 to see if it was able to be turned so no help there.
