Anybody still playing this game? I got it when it came out but im just now getting around to playing it cause ive been so busy. I really love this game its a blast!:yumyum:

I have hardly touched it, got a MS sidewinder wheel in the cupboard somewhere too. Will make to give it a go wen I get time.

I still pop it in every now and again, it's an awesome game to play. My problem is I lack a controller or steering wheel, so I'm all mouse and keyboard, but I beat the game that way so it's not too hard to adjust

Ive got the game, its only really good on a wheel... stunning gfx too, gives your system a pounding.

I got it the other day and its terrific. Getting a 360 controller through the post this week I thinks

I love the big rig hill climbs. The C4 and Celica are probably the nicest cars to drive so far. Sweet game

Yea i can play it maxed and i dont lag at all with AA. I use a controler and have always used a controler with racing games so to me even on pro setting its kinda easy but its still really fun.

Are you supposed to be able to see your headlights when your in darker tracks? Cause in some of the night time ones ive been riding in the dark.

yeah.. i cant believe you run it maxes since the game has poor/no sli support from what ive seen and read and if my system struggles...

I do, and its water smooth. With 4xAA @ 1440x900

i had x2 athlon too, the 4400 one (with 2 meg of cache) and tbh even clocked at 2.6Ghz, with 8800GTS (320meg, also too clocked) it lagged like crap at highset settings with 1280x1024 rez in dirt, mind you only when playing with load of other opponents, but when alone in a stage, it was all smooth and fine

I have no problems whatsoever. What alot of people need to know is i dont run anything else on my PC except games and im running XP. Omega drivers, heavily OCed, and when nothing is going i have 13 processes running tops. Gives the game alot to work with. I can also run Crysis @ 1440x900 on high settings and my low dip is only to 18fps.

Has there been any word said about the continuation of the genre since the untimely death of Colin Mcrae ?

I know it`s not exactly something u burst into the family with in the "what about the gamers?!" fashion, but even with that out of question, business question/matters would no doubt be addresses at some point and well.. it is a business interest or endoursement.

Always seemed to be one of the games mentioned over the years, on a number of platforms, when people talk about the top driving games.

Hmm idk. Didnt he look over each game himself though? If thats the case then i think the games probably wouldnt be as good. If not, i dont see why they shouldnt. Unless its a name thing.

Also, nobody answerd my question. Are you supposed to be able to see your headlights ina dark track? Its to hard driving in the dark.

I think maybe you havent got your gfx on full coz if there lower then it doesnt display lights...

Everything is either set on high or ultra.

I noticed a couple of the cars I've got have no actual

lights, I think the old school Fiat and Lancia have got stickers instead of lights

So I'm not sure..

Well on the darker tracks you acn see where the lights are on on the car but when you go to drive down the track (I use bumper view) you cant see your lights.
