Different readings, different software. 1100t Overclock

Hi guys,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my system / overclock.

Spec.

ASUS CROSSHAIR IV EXTREME ROG Edition 890FX Socket AM3 Extended ATX Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition 3.3 GHz Socket AM3 6MB Cache Processor
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered
ASUS HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Dual DP Out Graphics card
Coolermaster HAF X Case
Coolermaster GX 750W PSU - 6x SATA 2x PCI-E 80plus Certified
Coolermaster V8

The issue I'm having is I'm getting a rather high CPU-z reading for my core speed. Im not quite sure why.

I'm also getting different readings from different monitoring software
I've attached a screenshot below and I've attached my a short vid of my bios settings.

I'm also not sure if I trust the voltages on auto.

Any thoughts / advice appreciated.:headscratch:

Well CPU-z is clearly being dumb and misreading the FSB. Personally I'd just ignore it.

Your auto volts look good tbh. 1.4 for a 4GHz clock is pretty good. I'd only worry about it if you are getting high temps under load testing. You can always plug a manual Vcore in if you want but frankly what you've got there doesn't look like you have any issues.

Cheers, I've emailed them. I susspect its the 2002 bios update as I havent this before.

Temps are ...okay. Need to redo the v8 and not use the thermal paste that came with it. Not been impressed with the v8 - wish i had known more when I decided on buying it :banghead:

I've never found the ASUS suite at all accurate in measuring temps. On my intel asus board, I was hitting 95 degrees on hardware monitor, before Asus even gave me the warning for hitting 70. I had similar issues when I used to be with AMD.

Other than that it looks fair enough. I'd be trusting CPU-Z more than anything by ASUS - except those clock speeds as they're clearly wrong

Yea but in the bios video you can see he had the FSB set to 200 which is stock but CPU-z was reporting 243. I'd rely on the bios over cpu-z here.

Also it's better to increase the FSB over the multiplier on the Phenom 2s (making sure you decreases the ratios on linked components like the RAM). You'll get a better overall performance boost from the whole system.
