DFI NF4 SLI-D Official EPUK thread

I did exactly that (that is a great site - the walkthrough saved a lot of swearing - but as stated - it was still a no-go!) Oh well - guess it's not as simple as I thought - didn't realise so much had changed between revisions!

Just to clarify - (if I ever get it to work) - With SLI on do I only have access to 1 of the 4 screens? Does plugging in a 2nd (3rd and 4th) disable SLI or do they just go blank? With SLI going is there any way to span the 2 screens?

Okay,

Probably best to make sure it works single screen first.

Plug in to the top card on the plug that is closest to the MOBO, that's the right connection.

Also the drivers you should be using are 76.45's, probably XG performance.

Once you can walk you may be able to run.

If after all that you have not been successfull then I am afraid it's time to face facts and offload them on Ebay (probably individually) and get a pair that are the same revision.

Cheers

One problem I came across. Make sure your DVI cable has all the pins! My cable had the middle row of pins missing and whenever I switched to SLI the screen would go blank. I had to revert to a D-Sub cable to rectify it.

OR bent pins! (like me :()

Ugh, I've been doing horrible using this mobo with my setup. My opty is cold bugged and I do believe my Ballistix kicked the crapper like everyone else's did. How am I doing? :-(

Hey! Sorry to drag up an old thread on an old board, but does anyone have any idea why the 2 fan headers to the left of the RAM will behave as normal upon boot, but stop supplying power after POST? I`m gonna run through my BIOS, but its weird. and annoying.

cheers!
