Detox - When is it coming?

A friend of mine, a real hip hop head, told me that Detox is coming today, but it's not here yet nor can I find any evidence that what he says is true. There's no release date on Wikipedia. So does anyone know when it's coming? I'm really looking forward for it, but from "I Need a Doctor" and "Kush" I'm not so sure if it will be what I expect it to be. It should be effin' amazing since he's worked for so long on it, but there's two things that make me think it'll be disappointing and those things are that I suspect the album to be over-refined. That Dre have sanded the edges so smooth that there's no wood left if ya know what I mean. And I'm afraid he might have gone down the road that so many other big rappers have done these past 10 years and that's selling out and hating on the haters and saying "I want to grow as an artist" which is total bull shit.

So anyways, does anyone know when it's coming and what do you think it will be like?

Play.com is listed as "Date to be confirmed." I've heard its coming out in May. Been like 10years in the making! Hope its good

wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt come out this year at all, i think the release date has been changed a few times already, anyways it better be some real chronic stuff but without snoop or pac or NWA i dont think dre will be all that... well not as good as people have been saying

Dre's just trying to sell as many beats headphones as he can before he releases Detox lol and i think you're right... I have a feeling its not going to be as good as the chronic and chronic 2001
