Designing a Cube case

I will be using a DDC with XSPC top.

Should be fine with a triple.

the tall one or the short top?

short is preferred

Here is a shot of the order of the hardware

There will be space above between and below the Hdds and DVD for proper airflow

My plan is to cut a hole in the mobo tray and use the intake of the PS to draw airflow behind the mobo to cool it

Here is a shot of a shell made from cardboard to get an idea of the hoses and basic look of the bottom half

There will be three 120mm exhaust holes (or an oval shape ) the fans will be on the inside of the rad blowing out

1 possibility is like my small red case, the three fans can draw air through the rad and blow it across the bottom half and out the left side of the case (Il check and see if the temps are better or worse)

cool, my plan is to make the mobo tray hinged at the front (where the hoses come out) so you can lift it up to service the bottom half.

I love the way its looking so far. Its crazy i was just out searching for cube cases today when i ran by this from a google search. I havent seen it listed but I would love to get a ball park figure for what one of these is gonna cost. my psu is going out right now so figure its time to upgrade cases while im working on it :D

I dont use them, but if you want Il figure a place to put one.

Well, I've never tried a T-line setup before :)

Another question, what RAD? as i know the 120.3 has a different fan space layout

maybe the water cooling experts can chime in on this, but I find no difference in temps using a T-line. (not to mention it eliminates the chance of a res failure)

as to the Rads, let me know what one the 3 of you will use and Il make the case for it.

PS: anyone got a PA 120.2? I could use it in my new case.

My rad is MCR220-QP from swiftech. ;)

It is only a 120.2 so I will have the extra space of the triple.. or maybe upgrade to a triple in the future.

Thanks for all the help so far Mark! ;)

So far i only have the pump/block as i sold the other parts with my case...so anything goes for me, i can buy the parts to fit the case

I dont mind having a t-line if its the same temps and just as easy to fill. Same with the rad really, if it gives the same temps (or better due to extra fan) i dont really mind/care lol

im lookin to cool my quad, 8800gt and possibly the mobo too. These will probably be upgraded so im not sure if that = more heat or less heat looking at the way next gen tech is going. How hot do x2 cards etc. get?

Just wondering if a dual rad would cope with all the strain
