Can someone please comment on the 2 images below and say what needs to be done with each. They're seperate applications and do not relate.

Can someone with a good eye for design and GUI comment and help me. I'm really bland when it comes to graphics.

Sorry to be pushy but can someone comment and tell me what I need to change? I don't like my designs so creative criticism would be great.

I'm not a designer by any means but those two images look very Windows lol if that makes sense. Personally I would scrap the gradient look, its overdone and cheesy go to twitter.com and see how they avoid using a gradient. Also add a drop shadow behind the login boxes doing so will ad some depth to the page which looks more attractive. The font in the first image doesn't suit the pages its to sharp and clashes with the use of butterflies, the second pages font should go on the first page because its a little more bubbly.
