Hi,

Just got this monitor today and it looks fantastic. However, in low lighted scenes i seem to be getting yellowish tints in the corners of the screens (mainly on the left side).
Anyways have a look and see whether you think its just making a fuss about nothing. The side on pictures seem to exaggerate it (well bright spots) and the head on picture doesnt seem to show the yellow as much (you can see it a bit in the corners). Apologies for poor camera quality.

That's actually not bad at all really. Seen far worse (and had them replaced). Looks like it has some light uniformity issues a little there (try taking the same photo from slightly below, and above the screen). But otherwise, looks fine to me

The above and below pics as requested.

Also got a calibration sheet; the colour uniformity deltaE w.r.t the centre is no greater than 0.31 in any of the 21 sections (which was a factor of 10 better than i expected) and the deltaE*cie94 (no idea what this one is) is no greater than 2.1 and they are on gray6,7 and blue 1.

The picture from below best shows that yellow tint i was on about. This is what concerns me

I mean everyone is looking at a picture of your monitor on their monitor at the end of the day here ;) it's difficult to say anything of true value with respect to it's condition.

But from what I can see it does not look that bad and i'm pretty sure you'd have to stand on your head to get that replaced, unless you bought it from somewhere very understanding. Especially seeing as it's been calibrated and certified to an extent, if it was out of spec it's unlikely that it would slip through.

If you want to truly enjoy your kit then I advise you not to look at a black screen in a dark room with the brightness way up and don't have an fps overlay in games. If it feels and looks good then just roll with it, when there is a serious problem get it dealt with. Also out of the box I find most screens generally have the brightness set way high, for me at least, crank it right down to nearly the bottom and see how it looks. I have a U2515 and run the brightness practically at 0.

I really do like it, especially with as I have a lightpack to go with it (which i've been using for a couple of months and is awesome and you should all get one immedietly). I always notice the yellow tint when im watching 16:9 content (hence black bars) but slowly finding plugins to remove that from internet content.
