Hello i was thinking of getting a new 1155 chip..as this time im not all that botherd bout OCing..so a decent chip thats what i'm looking for.. what one do you remmend?

The i5-2500k is possibly the best all rounder.

just playing wow and starcraft and spacemarine on it all ready have the other parts just not the cpu yet

was thinking £150 not to botherd bout OCing at the moment anything over 3.0ghz will be good for me

If you can stretch to it, I'd probably go for a standard i5-2500 chip. If not, the i3 2100's are fine for your uses.

Just for a little future proofing, if you're not going to be using a discrete GPU get a Sandy Bridge chip with the HD3000 GPU on it such as the i3 2105. Its meant to perform much better than the standard HD2000 found on the i3 2100.

i'm hoping to be using my msi gtx 470 as is still have some life on it

Its just that if in the future you decide to upgrade the chip you could easily build say a media centre around an HD3000 GPU based chip.
