Dawn of War III first gameplay footage

Oh dear this is going to be like Company of Heroes 2 isn't it?

A basic game for 35 euros at launch then 2-3 expansions -in the form of DLCs- that will also cost 25 euros each...

Me not like

I thought Dawn of War 1 and 2 were actually good value for money. Especially if you got one of the bundle editions. That said they were basically totall different games. So it will be interesting to see how 3 will play.

Didn't all the Dawn of War's come out like that...

I don't rememebr what happened back then, but judging from company of heroes 2, the game felt kinda rushed and incomplete things that got fixed with the two expansions. CoH1 Didn't have those issues, I assume neither DoW had those issues either.

Another oldie title that im glad they are bringing back, i think out of all of the DoW games and add ons i loved the winter assault most of all :)

My fave DoW was Dark Crusade, DoW2 and it's expansions were good minus the base building which was a huge negative for me, Loved building an orky fortress up ^_^

I thought that with the introduction of titans that we would be looking at larger scale battles but it looks the same as DoW2. It needs to go back to DoW1 days (but with titans)

They aren't titans (but your point is still valid)

Warhammer 40k Total War... with M****F***ing Titans yo!

Well for one thing, im loving this warhammer total war. Id say its pretty successful so would love to see a 40k version. Maybe use some async compute logic like ashes of singularity for all the individual battles going on.

There is potential there!

They are Imperial Knights. A bit above dreads. Single pilot fusing his mind with the machine.

I just did something really stupid... all this talk of DoW III and titans. I bought a titan model from Forgeworld. Damn you guys! and thank god for the GBP crash.

The way it's going my Warhammer Minis will be better currency than the Pound.

Asif you just bottled out for a Titan.. let us know what the Resin is like.. At least it's forgeworld resin and not that crap they try to sell in the main stores.

I bought Lorgar last month from Forgeworld. I'd really like to buy all of the Primarchs. I had him replaced because the resin was bad. I have also been following an old project of one guy who bought 3 titans. Those needed replacing on certain parts too.

Luckily Forgeworld caused me no grief and changed it without question. The spiked mace had resin leakage and no detailing, the skulls on the base were poor too, not to mention the face. Guess I got unlucky. the replacement was perfect though.

Also, I strongly highly and DEFINATELY recommend their weathering powder over any other. It is absolutely amazing. Better than AK weathering, Vallejo and Tamiya
