dam asus!!!

i think my asus dark knight 4870 1gb card just died.......

was on morzilla just browsing and then pink lines started showing up and then 2 secs later black. pc was still on just black screen, so i restarted it and mobo gets up to checking gpu and just hangs there. so i switched the pcie slot and still the same and then i took the psu and card downstairs to my other computer and tested it on that and still nothing!

and some of you may know bex from wcuk or xs, with her experience with asus rma i just wana slapp myself for buying a second hand asus card.

*sighs* o well.... let the half year rma commence!

When I rma'd my 18month old P5K prem it was painless. Scan even picked it up.

Scan have always been like that for me. Awesome service afaic.

ASUS, not exactly my favorites when it comes to support. Good products, but god help if u get an issue beyond the retailers scope.

Asus now do a 5 day RMA turnaround if the item was bought from an authorised reseller who uses an authorised UK distributor.

Tried it a few times and it works, 4 days the longest I've had to wait.
