Alo. I've had my pc built at a computer store and I'm unsure of how well its been put together, the d14.. I'm almost certian this isnt the right setup but looking at the memory if this was put round the other way it would have collided. Please share your thoughts.
Looks like the fans are blowing to the right(also the noctua text is upside down). The optimal would to have them blowing to the left so that the heat goes out the exhaust fan. I dont think the ram would get in the way, because the cooler is already above the ram modules.
So. you can turn the heatsink 180 degrees and try get it mounted or you can turn the fans so they blow in the right direction.
The fans have arrows on them that tells witch way they blow.
Heres an image of how/should be mounted(if possible):
If the ram is to high, then you can get some low profile ram. Pretty cheap to get 2x4gb.
Yup, I agree. It actually shouldn't matter if the Noctua text is upside down because it works the same way. All you have to do is make sure the fans are oriented so that it blows the air towards the rear exhaust fan, and just to be consistent, I would move the Noctua 12cm fan back to the front as shown in Azurite's photo. The fans should have arrows on it to tell the user the direction of the moving air.
