I know it strictly won't make much fo a difference, but I've been reading everywhere that your rad should come after the pump due to the fact that the pump will put heat into the water. Even if its a miniscule amount, its not what you really want.

I was thinking that if the heat into the res was a lot less it would dissipate into the rest of the water better to that the heat into the pump should be less, I guess it could be seen to work either way.
I'm going with a cpu+gpu loop to start with but when I get some money I'm getting a mosfet + nb + sb blocks for the mobo to help a tiny bit and because it looks cool. So I was thinking that new pump just after the Dtek block going into the GPU.
So later on it will be: rad -> res -> pump -> SB -> NB -> mosfet -> single rad -> cpu -> small pump -> gpu -> triple rad -> res
And there we go. Im also assuming that the pump after the CPU block would also increase its flow through that a bit because of pulling the water?
So may get that thing as a nice little upgrade to shave a few degrees off.
There really is no need for the 2nd pump....flow rates don't really have any impact on temperatures as this is a closed system...as long as the water is moving and there is sufficient flow through the Fuzion block then it's fine.
Faster overall flow rates just mean the water will spend less time in the radiator...so obviously there's no benefit.
You'd probably knacker the 2nd pump (the smaller one) as the bigger pump will be pumping water faster than the smaller one is designed for.
For a big loop just get a DDC Ultra and stick the best performing top on it, which at the moment is the OC Labs top. Those pumps are monsters and you really shouldn't need a 2nd one.
General rule of thumb is that as long as you have your reservoir directly before the pump you're fine (even better if the pump is being gravity fed by the reservoir as well)
