Right, I have to get this off my chest. RANT!
I had the most pathetic customer on work today (PC World techie)
Firstly he comes up asking about Windows 7, and I go on to say I have been using it since July and think it is ace. All going well.
Then he says he refuses to talk to me unless I can tell him what Windows 7 Home Premium N is. So I sneek a look on the phone and told him its the one with No media player. Then he says its shocking how it can be sold as the same price as W7 HP standard. Then I explain we don't actually sell that, and the idea behind a "N" version is to keep EU happy, the same issues as the Europe version of 7 shipping without IE8.
Next he rants on about our Windows 7 bay layout, how it is not showing the "Family Pack" of W7 PH. I state it *might* not be out as;
a. we don't have it/out of stock
b. is not on the Point of Sale given to us by Microsoft.
He then speels on about how he was a Morrisons manager and that we make our own PoS.
No, Microsoft do, shut up you idiot.
He then gets in a tantrum because we sold our Windows 7 family pack, and he then demands a manager.
So I get him one, and he doesn't believe this person is the manager.
Since we cannot immediately present him with a complete list of every Windows 7 product under the sun he threatens to complain.
He then complains because none of us really know about Windows 7 to the depth he seems to think we should. I mean, it had been out for 19 hours at this point, how can I not know about the versions we will NEVER sell.
He then threatens to take legal action (some how...) and this is where he gets pathetic.
He takes a hissy fit because we won't let him buy some kids software to "test" and return is he doesn't like it. I don't do to Morrisons to "test" food and return if I don't like it, do I?
I don't ask him the ingredients of everything in his shop, then sue him because he can't.
By the end of it, we were having fun though, 4 of us against him. He is getting no where with this arguement. His posture completely changes and he goes defensive, looks rather worried and eventually walks out the shop.
If I saw him outside the shop, I really would have kicked the living day lights out of him. Why did he get so stroppy over such insignificant things?
What a tool.
