Hi guys here is a work log of my corsair obsidian 750d case i painted it with 3 tins of plasti dip blue and i wanted to know what everyone thinks of it please take the time and have a look and please let me know if you like it.

vids just incase you want to have a look

part 1 just a look of all the parts

part 2 a quick look of the finnished rig

The other small mod was with the ssd's i used paint on my pc to copy the forse3 ssd and paste it over the forse3 gt (to get rid of the red color).

I then copied the forse3 gt info over the top
thats so you know it is a gt ssd but with the color of the standard force3.

I then done something similar with my western digital drive but you can see i removed the corsair logo and replaced it with the western digital one and i got the the black edition logo as well and i think it came out ok after i cut them all out.

I just hope you understand what i done :).

Please don't be afraid to tell me it looks crap i wold rather people be honest with me.

The main thing im not sure of it the logo (reactor 1) i don't know if i like it and i was going to ask you guys to tell me what you think do i keep it or get rid or it

Check out my info for full pc speck's

please let me know

thanks for looking and hope you enjoy it

Update i have removed the (reactor 1 logo)
no one likes it really and you guys confirmed it for me so its gone now :)

Ps the blue is like a navy blue but with good daylight its more like sky blue

The led lighting is 5050 rgb 300 with a 44key remote control so i can choose any color and intensity of the lights

Im honestly not keen on the black door.

Facebooked it though where its the first 750D project we have seen :)

I received mine yesterday for a review I have to write, and let me tell you, you're convincing me to custom-paint mine too! Good job!

I'm not really a sticker fan when it comes to cases but it's nice to see someone willing to do something like this with the 750D already. It certainly is a nice colour of blue

Nice job love the "Coooool Blue" look of this and the colour is great, but yes the Reactor 1 thing I'd get rid it spoils it I think your rig would look much nicer without it, it's a little distracting from the window. :):beerchug:

thanks guys the reactor 1 logo has now gone and i will paint the side panel blue as soon as i have the funds to do it

thanks for all your input and im glad you like it :)

Personally I'd leave it black, painting it blue may be a bit over powering.
Less is more.

Yeah I gotta agree with TTL here, solid color on the outside does this chassis some justice since it uses a fairly minimalistic, elegant look anyway. Breaking up the coloring in that way feels out of place, almost boy racer-ish on a 750D. the FRONT staying black looks good though!

I can see mixed opinions on this..... :)

I think it looks pretty neat as is, I see some cases that are all blue or all red and think that its too in your face. This is subtle and sleek....

But permanently lose that 'Reactor 1' it makes it look cheap and nasty.

thanks everyone for your opinions

this is the problem i was having i did not know weather to paint it all blue or not

the front of the case will always remain black mainly because of removing the panel for cleaning the filter and also the power button but mainly its because i just like the aluminum look

To be honest I think it looks great! I'm just wondering how the inside is lit up because it's really nice and bright, is it white CCFLs?

the led's are rgb 5050/300 there strip lights that come in 5 meter lengths i used about 2.5 meter's
you have to have some knowledge with soldering irons to do the light like mine and i also used 3x 90 degree connectors

the 5050 is 3 led section and all 3 have red green and blue
the 3528 is 3 led section but its 3 separate red green and blue
(do not get 3528) as the colors do not mix and you can see separate colors
and the 300 stand's for how meany leds in total (you can get 150) but not as good for even spread of light

take a look at the picks again as i will add some close ups for you

PS if your good with a soldering iron and you place an order of the right angles (be careful) i ordered 6 of them and i got 3 right and 3 left angle and yes there are different as the +positive is in a different place (trust me tho there different)

you might want check out the links below

led lights

right angle something like this

male connectors

female connectors

extra wire
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10M-RGB-4...Night_Lights_Fairy_Lights&hash=item4170e2d524

all you need is a 4pin molex to 3 pin fan connector and you cut the power supply you get with the pack and solder on the power (if you want to run the light of your pc power supply)
if not just run the light from the external power supply

hope this helps

I don't know what double posts are m8 sorry can you explain im new to forums

Rather than adding another comment to a thread you can reply to someone else by adding "
blah blah blah
" to a previous post using the Edit button. It keeps the thread tidy and smaller.

so is it better to use the quick reply then because i can only edit my posts no body elses :)

No you just use the "Edit" button to add to your previous post like this. :)

like this[/QUOTE][/PLAIN]

*take note of the closing square brackets......it has the slash /

Becomes this..........
like this

Further more, if you need to reply via edit to two or more people, on the lower right of said post there is a quote's (") button, which turns yellow when clicked....

when you have selected the various people, the last person you want to quote, instead of using the quote's (") button, click the 'Quote' (in text) ......this should put a pre-written reply into a box with which ever quotes you selected......

BTW, I suck at explaining things, but hopefully you get the idea.
