Its fine now that hardware can run it on high fps. Heck my 7870 could run it at just under 100fps on high. They were very good at optimising it towards the end. Shame that they completely removed support for the game to the point where it doesn't even launch on steam. I feel sorry for the people who actually bought it.
Their venture into F2P with Warface failed and lost them quite a bit of money as well. If it wasn't for the CryEngine license itself they would have gone bust a long time ago.
They also need to change their view on what games should be as well, Cevat Yerli seems to think that games are all about the graphical experience and that story and gameplay don't matter. This is why Crysis 2 & 3 are so linear and have no substance.
I don't want to see CryTek go but they need to rethink how they do things and what direction they want to go in.
I do hope as well as having good graphics they focus more on story which is more important because although I do like the Crysis games the story isn't exactly "OMG I need to know more" ^_^
Get out of bed with EA and have Valve publish their games for them.
Push to have a more open adoption of the game engine. Not enough AAA titles are being released on the engine.
Could you imagine if the next Elder Scrolls was on Cry Engine 4? Like how amazing that would have been. It's not going to happen because they've butchered it with ESO but what ever.
