Nah man. Here is mine today. I had a ruddy good clearout a couple of days ago, but I had about 10 790 motherboards on there lol.

Years ago my father in law (typical Italian "this is my house so I can go anywhere I like") went through my private stuff when my wife and I were out (ex wife now).

Any way, he found my wallet and demanded to know where the cheque for $300 had come from. At the time I was skint and he thought I was lying.. The money was from my mother to pay for immigration stuff.

Anyhoo, we had this massive argument at which point he gave off the "this is my house" in typical Italian fashion.

So, figuring there was no reasoning to be had as he just didn't even see what was wrong with going through my private stuff the ex and I decided to buy a rather large 'toy' and leave it in one of my drawers.

Oddly enough a few weeks later he looked rather sheepish and never went in our room again without knocking.

So that strategy deffo works. Don't go looking for something that you might regret if you find

also looking to do a bit of modding to the case at the moment thinking about

120mm rad on the roof (looks possible even if bitfenix dont list it as supported)

platform on top of the PSU & pump/res (if it fits) powder coated white to hide all the blackness

1 or 2 in a well ventilated case with good spacing doesnt need water cooling

i am thinking about a 470 now though because i can SLi 2 of them and not need a new PSU

and even add a 3rd if i up my PSU and games start to struggle a little
 
but not as hot

barring in mind i dont plan on OC'ing the GPU as i broke the last one i OC'ed

so the faster the card at stock the better it is for me

the heat isnt that bad

am when i have the case in my hands so i can have a better look at it i am going to look at adding fans where they are not meant to be and just improving the airflow of it

I hope you wouldn't be prepared to bet on that... On stock coolers the 470s are just as hot as the 480. However, get them under an Arctic triple? they'd be miles better. Coolers are £50 odd and the 470 is on spesh on OC atm for £210 or so. Might be a worthwhile combo, but please make sure the cooler fits that specific card.

BTW.. What I mean dude is this. I had a 280GTX XXX. It had the same cooler as the 470, exactly the same cooler.. I hit 107 once.. Once.. Then it died. Fermi is hotter and meaner than 280 so you will need to tame it well.
