Gonna get the EVGA GTX670 FTW for $380. Performance difference between it and the 680 aren't big enough to justify the extra $100. According to the HardOCP review of Crysis 3 IQ, the 670 performed as well as the 7970 and really close to the 680, all for $100 less. Plus I get all the goodness of the FTW card with beefier components.

man I wish I had some $$ atm I'd ask ya to pick me up a cpu they have on sale atm. I'm in San Antonio Tx we dont have a microcenter close by. IIRC its the 3770K for 229$ but that would lead me to have to buy a new mobo lol. And I just got Gigabytes Flagship board for the Z68 chipset 2-3 weeks ago lol.

definitely go for it, i got one and i love everything about this card, besides the fact that you can't overclock it properly because of the cooler. so if you are going to get one, think about putting it under water.

Got it! Took a little day trip with the wife and kid down to Atlanta (2 hrs) and got it on sale for $380 at Frys. Can't wait to see what this game looks like! Now for the long drive back.

Holy God this game is beautiful! This has to be the best looking game ever. When you first walk out on the streets of New York, I spent a good 5 minutes just walking around looking. The face animation is also the best Ive ever seen in a game. The wind blowing thru the grass, the smudges on your screen, the overall atmosphere is just unreal! Man Crytek really outdid themselves this time.

I turned everything up to max except for AA which I set to FX and Im getting between 35-55 fps. Perfectly smooth and playable. This GTX670 FTW is just wonderful. I may have sex with it tonight.

Im currently running a GTX670 and an i7 2600k.

Game Settings:

Getting anywhere from 45-60ish with those settings.

The game is beautiful.
