Crysis 3 DirectX 10 patch?

Hello. I have seen several videos on youtube with links to supposed Crysis 3 DirectX 10 patches. The problem is they all direct to download sites where you need to enter your mobile number and complete a survey, so I'm a little suspicious. There are plenty of positive comments though.

Does anyone know of a patch i can download where i don't have to complete a survey or enter my mobile number.

You have a direct X 11 capable video card according to your sig, so what's the issue? And no, these links you're talking about definitely sound fake. They make hundreds of "bot accounts" to comment and thumb up their own comments. Once you enter your mobile number it'll sign you up to their "service" and start charging you ridiculous amounts of money. As for the "patch" it's most likely a virus or some sort of malware. So you'll be getting doubly screwed.

I prefer playing games in a VM which only supports up to DirectX10.

Yeh.
I could run it in Windows but i use OS X as my primary OS.
To play a game in Windows would mean stopping uploads and downloads, not having my music collection... and loads of other things that are also annoying.

This is why i was looking for a DirectX 10 patch. Save switching back and forth.
