Crysis 2

Not 100% this is the right place to post this, anyway...

Just downloaded and installed the Crysis 2 demo. Is it me or are the graphics, average ? Compared to Mafia II I just don't see anything good about the graphics in the demo. Maybe the release will be better ?

It's DX9 only, the final version will be DX10 and DX11 with advanced physics and AI. As far as i'm aware anyway.
 
Well actually theres a rumour going around that nVidia said Crysis 2 will be shipped with DX9 and DX10/11 will be added in a later patch.
 
I'm still gutted that there's no (to my knowledge) tropical island/forest/woodland.

I love natural areas and such.

That's a bit disappointing if it's true I want DX11 from day 1.

I wish the demo were of the campaign, to be honest. That being said I have a fear that the campaign's going to be more akin to those games such as AvP where the multiplayer's the main feature.
 
Crysis 2 is out 25/3/11 if you get Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead now you can play those just in time to start Crysis 2.
