awesome - but don't bother unless you have an ULTRA gaming system
ie: HD5xxx+/GTX460+ (or multi-gpu), and stable 4GHz CPU, and 8GB of DDR3
ULTRA DX11 requires ULTRA GAMING RIGS![]()
nice eye-candy for those can afford it![]()
even though nextgen graphics can be mostly done by the gpu, the textures used must be parsed to the gpu via the cpu.
the ultra-upgrade involves some heavy computations, especially the realtime HDRi and the 'close-actor' reflections. as i have (and use regularly) the nvidiaSDK, i know this 'stuff'![]()
From the Mycrisis https://secure.mycry...hp?f=40&t=32062
o 64-bit Operating System
o Fast HDD or even SSD
o Quad Core CPU
o 8GB of RAM
o DX11 compatible graphic card with 1.5GB Video Memory
Looks like you do need 8gb mem..

Woah, that's heavy going. I wonder if that's to run at around 60fps, or just play it at acceptable frame rates.
580 should be good, 570 only has 1.3GB :/
Going to go over to YouTube now and find some video sweetness![]()
Without the high res textures you only need
DX11 Package Specs
Minimum:
o DX11 compatible graphic card with 768MB Video Memory
But it's not going to look as good without the high res textures
