Hi

I have been looking in to some Dual channel DDR3 RAM in the past couple of days since I have been thinking of building my very first P67 gaming rig. I have been researching and have decided on getting high performance DD3 RAM with good aesthetics that will hopefully compliment the awesome Motherboard (Gigabyte UD7).

I recently had a chance to read the review of the new Grey series RAM introduced by Kingston and thought of getting a pair of those but I have also been interested in these crucial Ballistix;

Crucial Ballistix

Those are 1866MHz I believe and according to Crucial are ideal in terms of gaming preferences.

Kingston HyperX

8GB models comparatively cheap but with more memory.

I am definitely interested in what you guys have to say about these two components.

Thanks

I'd say the Kingston's so those heatsinks on the Crucial sticks don't get in the way of anything in the future.

You may want to consider the Kingston Genesis sticks that were just reviewed on the front page.

Review here and buy them here.

Is it cheaper to purchase items from newegg say as opposed to purchasing them from UK stores? How much is shipping fees?

newegg don't ship internationally atm so you'd use a uk sit such as scan or aria

Aria's website and some memory suggestions the radioactive i added cause they look awesome(to me) and have better timings but cost a lil more

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...+CL9+DIMM+XMP+X2+Grey+Series+?productId=43438

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...2x2GB)+DDR3+1600MHz+6-9-7-24+?productId=43768

Ah okay thanks for the advice. I really appreciate the suggestion! I thik the only prob is that the radioactive wont go with the UD7!

The frostbyte heatsink aesthetics really do appeal to me.
