crossfire 6870 x2+6850x1 ? or 6870x1 6850 x2 ?

hello guys need help !

today i wanna go to the store to upgrade my comp , my touble is that i dont know what should i upgrade too... in order to run arma 2 maxed out since my 6870 dont run it well specially when loggin in to servers with 64 players the fps drops down from 60-70fps when say 32 players . to 19-35 fps!

my spec now is

amd 3.0 ghz 6 cores

ati 6870 1gb gigabyte

powersupply corsair 950 w tx

8 gb ram mushkin

motherbord is asus m4a88t-m

hd 500gb seagate 16mb

now my trouble is is that i have ati radon 6870 gigabyte gpu code : gv-r687d5-1gd-b 1gb with what card can i crossfire it with ?

is it possible to crossfire it with any 6870 for exp gigabyte\asus\saffire 6870\6850 or the cards have to be exactly the same like in the code?

i understand that the code is the gpu serial number\model?!??

Yup.

Note that ArmA 2 appears to be a non-stop heavy HDD/SSD user. To improve fps and remove stutter you may need to upgrade more than the gpu. Look around on the web for suggestions.

ye i know this game is prob the heavyeast thing arround its a card killer, anyway u think it is wise to use x3 6870 or x2 6870 + x1 6850 will it produce more fps?
