I can solve a few stock problems for ASUS and Gigabyte, although not so much Gigabyte.
Stop making so many damn mobos for a chipset range ! The addition of cooling to where it should be anyway or 2 more usb ports or a firewire bracket does not constitute a requirement to produce a new mobo.
Yep good call Rasta. I think a lot of manufacturers are responsible for skinning the cat in just about every way possible.
On the upside, this may mean that the cost of building an i7 rig is much cheaper than we initially anticipated, but on the downside it could possibly mean a massive shortage of x58 motherboards.
A challenge every1 now to goto their favorite BIG seller of mobos online and hit up 35/45/48 chipset listings and they are clogged with ASUS and Gigabyte, seperated by a few quality mobos from other people.
I know what their game is, they want u to look at the listing and see a blanket of their products.
