well guys.... i have an acer aspire m3910 as a bedrom pc like just for web browsing etc. its got a i3 550 in and well ive got a core voltage of 2.9 volts apparently -.- any ideas whats happening? temps are fine (30 ish at idle and 50 ish at load.

cpu-z but i would think its lieing because the pc is over a year old and i fold on it for 5+ hours a day ( not massive ppd but it helps)

i can hardly change anything in the bios as its locked down( f you pc world ) im planning on rebuilding it soon anyway ( re use hdd odd and maybe the cpu if i can find an m atx 1156 board on the cheap) ill try that version of cpu z now :)

Try downloading OCCT and then use Linpack mode to stress the computer and have CPUZ open at the same time and see what volts it pushes through it when stressed. Also can you give us a Screen cap of the 2.9 volts in CPUZ?

HW monitor and CPU-Z are made by the same people arent they?

So I'm guessing for voltages they use the same software and coding, any other program you can use?

right after about 10 minutes trying to find my way through the crappy bios on this acer ive found out its actually 1.1 volts so its all good but cpuz still reads it as 2.928v. any other programs i can try? :)
