Cpu upgrade

Hi all just a quick question.
With all rapid changes with Intel and amd on processors and boards, do you think it a wiser move to upgrade my x99 cpu or wait 6 months, reason I ask I have the chance of getting a 6950x new for around 950 pounds

The question you need to ask yourself is will you utilise the new processing power and is your current setup suiting your needs

Good point thank you at the moment I possibly don't use my to it full potential so maybe I should hold off.
I have a 6850 k at present ( really should do signature block to list what I have )

What Tolemac said. And if you find yourself needing a bit more, go for the 6950K; cheapest upgrade in your case.
