CPU temp goin 94!!

Guyz my cpu temp is goin @ 90 Degree when i start playing crysis....I am using Intel I7 2600K,Asus P8P67 Deluxe MOBO.......when not playing crysis my tem stays at 45 Degree.....What shud i do

I am on a stock Cooler And it is fixed Correctly!!

You need to remove the thermal paste that comes pre applied to the stock cooler and replace it with some better thermal paste like Artic Silver 5, also getting a better CPU cooler like a Noctua NH-D14 will get you much lower temps.

Couple easy steps here.

1. Throw the stock cooler in the bin
2. Buy a decent aftermarket cooler

Has to be overclocked,.. and overclocking on this tiny cooler that comes with the cpu, only on your own risk

Stock coolers are so poor. I used the stock cooler for the i7 950 for awhile and it was hiting over 90c on default clocks

Considering the heat in India i'm not surprised your temps are that high you really do need a better CPU cooler mate something like the D14 or the Silver Arrow would be the best as they are the best air coolers money can buy.

I don't know to be honest but i remember reading in another thread that the V8 isn't very good. The H70 is ok but it is pretty loud and and for the money you can get a Noctua NH-D14 which is near silent and will get lower temps. As for the Venomous, I have never seen or read anything about it.

From the reviews I've read the Venomous X is better, but you'll need to get your own fans. You might want to look at a Thermalright Archon or a Noctua D14, they are even better and they come with fans.

Yup those are the only one i can get.....M getting my venoumous X in a weeks time....!!
