[Solved]Hello..
I have a Asus X99 Deluxe 3.1
Recently updated the system, and I now have a CPU LED error, just show red light.
All the cable have been checked, i know the cpu is not faulty.
The Q-Code is AF.

I have been searching the Googles and forums for hours on hand and still stupid as before.
You guys are my last hope!!!!

All the fans from the cpu cooler and the system is spinning as nothing happend.
But still no post screen. - The ram sticks have been removed and I have a old temp GPU atm the moment, that might be the cause, can you guys make me any smarter around this?

All help is appreciated!
Cheers.

as far as i know a red light on the cpu means that the cpu cant be started. this could be because of a psu issue, dead cpu or even possibly needing a bios update for that cpu.

not sure from your post but did the board used to work with that cpu. and is the cpu correctly installed.

Well, got all new parts since the old psu fried most of my stuff..
I hope its not a PSU issue, since it got replaced today.
I had the x99 deleuxe and have been upgraded to X99 deluxe 3.1 because of RMA.
Also, the CPU is brand new.

Update: If i shut of the pc and take out the cpu 8 pin the light disappears.
Is that a indication of a defective Mobo?

Edit1: the issue have been solved, looks like it was a bios update needed, feel so stupid now.
