CPU Cooler

At the moment I am running a Akasa Revo925 on a AMD6000+ X2,looking for a better cooler.Temps are about 55/58C,would like to be lower. Anyone know a real good cooler,mid range price and must be quiet.

OCZ Vendetta 2- Great air cooler

Well I'm running a Q9450 on a Gigabyte board at 27- 30 average temp cooled by an OCZ Vendetta 2. It is very quiet and I am pleased with it. I bought it after reading the review on here and seeing the price was about 25 quid on Ebuyer. It has mountings for both Intel and AMD cpu's. It looks huge but it fitted into a boring standard case I use for my second rig with no problem. If there is a fault with it, and it's a small one, the fins are bloody sharp so if you get one be careful installing it. Otherwise it is a very quiet and efficient cooler and at a good price.
