CPU Case Suggestion?

Yeah, that's a good looking case.

Only disadvantage that it has over the P410 and Scout 2 is that it won't support a radiator. Other than that, it's quite a good case. It only has one front intake fan, but iirc that's a 200mm one so you should be fine. Not as much choice on the market though, if you ever want to switch it out for a better one.

The upper HDD cage is removable so that'll be good as well!

Only other thing worth mentioning (imo) is that it has no cable management grommets, but instead it just has plain holes along the side of the motherboard tray.

Hey Thanks! Do you think the Enforcer's air cooling capabilities will be good enough for me?

Honestly, I don't know how good that intake fan is. If it's not that good, you can only chose from 2 different other 200mm fans (Bitfenix Spectre Pro and Cooler Master Megaflow) because the market for them is so small.

I guess you could go and watch some reviews?

Edit; I found this vid from Cooler Master for ya. But beware that they are comparing it to the original Scout case here, not the Scout 2:

Thanks! I'm on reviews right now. Hopefully there is something in use for me :D
I'll take note of the vid, the Scout 2 got me on its side fans directly pointing in the gpu area though.

I will update this post soon after I have decided and purchased which one from my choices. The following so far are: Phantom 410, Scout 2 and Enforcer.

Thanks for all your help! :D I appreciate it! :worship:

No problem mate! Let us know which one you pick

Hello! :D I just want to update this thread, I have made up my mind and finally bought myself a case! (Finally!)

And I picked....... The Cooler Master Storm Scout 2!! :D

My impression: I chose the black one because I have problems with glossy white colors especially if it is in my room (It reflects too much light on me that it causes dizziness. I don't know why) Besides, the black one looks cooler for me more than the gun metal one.

I had the regular edition which only comes with one fan, the only advanced edtion available is Ghost White. So I bought two 120mm Fans as intake, and have 1 120mm as rear exhaust.

Being a beginner in changing hardwares, it is easy for me transferring my components from my old case. I followed the instructions in a youtube vid playing on my TV as I do my operation :D

Everything went well, there is a plenty of space inside for your components. I wasn't even able to make yet my proper cable management at the back with the proper cable tyings but the panel still closed easy enough due to the areas within the side panel that protrudes outward.

Cooling wise, I still am not sure about my setup as it is just my first hour of using it. I still need some time of using though. And there is a spike in my room temperature due possibly to the summer season here in my tropical county. So I cannot yet conclude whether how much does my new setup be able to cool itself.

After a few days of using it, I may post my full and proper review of the case here.

I also want to help others by providing answers to their questions. Afterall, the best review would come from experience right. :D Thank you

Seems like you made a good choice. Cooler Master make some excellent quality cases - hope you enjoy it. I still love my Enforcer case...

Yeah Thanks! :D The build quality is so good and I like my Scout 2's features especially its potential for air cooling. It looks like I really made a good choice :)

May I ask for suggestions in fan placement? This is my current setup as of now, I have 1 intake in the front in the upper fan placement bracket, 1 intake from the side just infront of the gpu and 1 rear exhaust.

What I think about my setup: I thought that the fan in front of the gpu could provide cool-air in it and placing the front intake above to allow air to reach my cpu cooler. Since I think placing it at the bottom front would just mostly provide air for my gpu (in which it already has one fan dedicated to it.) All in all I have 3 120mm fans.

I got their regular midnight black edition that only comes with 1 120mm rear exhaust fan so I purchased 2 more fans to have intakes. My fans are Cougar dual-x 120mm fans. Do you think this fans are good? I have them in my system already and I think it does a good job, though I am not able to notice temperature differences as my ambient room temp spikes from 30 to 34c (It really is hot :D)

Do you think I need to purchase more fans? And where do you think I would need to put them? Considering my current fan placement. Thank you so much! :D

I'd go for the standard 2x front intake and 1x rear exhaust method tbh. You can always try and see if the temp differences on your GPU are actually higher than with the side panel fan installed.

Keep in mind that most fans (unless optimized for that) will not blow the air in a straight path either.

When you have more intake fans than exhaust you get positive air pressure, this will keep the dust out of your case. Having more exhaust than intake will pull the dust in.

Warm air can also passively rise out of the top of your case.
