Cougar Vortex Fans

So here we go, I've been looking up fans for cooling the corsair H100 I'm buying. And here they are. I stumbled across these fans after looking at the company "Cougar" The brand of PSU I will be using for my summer rig. Apparently these fans are only 17.3 db and with a whopping 70.5 CFM. 800-1500 Rpm PWM. Running on a hydrodynamic bearing. Does anyone here own these or know actually how good they are? Because if I buy 4 of these to replace my H100s fans they will match my system. I'm buying an XFX 6990, A Cougar CMX 1000W PSU, A Corsair H100, Asus Crosshair IV Formula Motherboard, 16Gb of Corsair Dominator GT 2000Mhz ram and a Corsair 600T with the window to show off my beast. But I'd really like to get these fans. They are sort of exclusive and ebuyer only seems to sell them. Any suggestions? I'm going with a red and black theme.

Could you post a link to the fans? maybe an image?

Also never heard of Cougar PSU's either, reputable brand or oem rebrand? or cheap underpowered lumps?

I wouldn't worry too much about how quiet these fan are, the 6990 will be the noisiest thing in your system, and that will set the noise floor for your rig - which will be loud from the reviews...

Cougar PSU's are pretty good. The CMX 1000 Watt is the best. It's absolutely beautiful and 80 plus Bronze. As you can see I don't mind much for efficiency if I'm buying a 6990.

I think the 6990 should be as loud as my 5770. They're pretty much all loud GPU's. The fans are alright. If only the 6990 came in a twin frozr model. Although it'd need a tri frozr. Just think about the possibilities and the potential. Or even a toxic version.

Cougar from what i know of them make pretty good PSU's and have a pretty good rep overall but I'v only seen them here and there. Keep in mind manufacturers almost always set the best possible setting for their product and don't show real-world spec's

OOOOO, Think ive just found the psu/fans to go with my upcoming x58a-oc build

, IF i can get them in the UK and there reasonably priced, was planning to go with just plain black fans/corsair psu but the orange on the CMX1000 would be 1000% nicer than the blue/gold/red/yellow or themes of the corsair units + i realy like the looks of the vortex fans.

ebuyer have the a bunch of their psu's + some fans just not the 1000/1200w GMX, only the 550/700w versions

tho they do have the 1050w gold rated version but i may aswell spend £5 more and get the AX1200 tbh, i might have to shoot them an email next week sometime and see if they would be able to get any of the 1000/1200W GMX series, fingers crossed about that.

EDIT: and the fans are £13 a pop aswell, not nice when im gonna need 6/7

EDIT2: ccl also have some cougar PSU's ill drop them an email or post on the forums seeing if they can get the CMX1000 in, they tend to be pretty good with getting one of a range in if they dont have it but have others in the series.
