hey all just wanted to show u guys my first self built rig

just so proud of what i did ^^

the specs are :

intel lga 2011 socket i7 hexacore

intel lga 2011 socket asus rampage motherboard

corsair dominator 16 gb quad channel

corsair 240 gb ssd sata III

corsair AX850 watt PSU

lite on blu ray sata drive 12 x

corsair H100 hydro series

cosmos 2 case

video card has changed meanwhile to a GTX 680

Another great build in a great case, nice hardware choice. Very clean cable management. For a first timer, its really something to be proud off

Nah he just hates optical drives in rigs - spoils the front of the case and are practically useless these days.

Call me stupid but, then where does a CD go? Digital media hasn't completely taken over yet.

well thanks alot for the positive comments really means alot ^^

but ime still confused about the optical drive thing , u need a drive to read dvd's and stuff , i diden't know theirs another way to read media from a CD ?

Well Tom uses Steam for games and a USB for installing windows. Any odd driver disk that he may need for example he uses an external drive.

you can use OC3Ds very own temperature monitor created by the legend that is DugDiamond
