Yeah but it all depends on under witch power draw. Its dead silent under 500w p.draw

Difficult to get more quiet than silent

Could perhaps depend on the equipment being used. I guess if you have a 1.2kW PSU you are going to be using a lot of power, whereas on Sandy Bridge and single GPU setups you probably rarely get the fan to spin on the AX850

I'm using a AX1200 and it's definitely not faulty. But it is the noisiest part of my system.

No coil whine, no clicking, just fan sound. It's an epic unit though, so I gladly accept it.
