Corsair TX850 and Fractal Node 304

I want to transform my current rig to a mini-ITX rig. At the same time, I want to reuse as much components from my current rig as possible.

I currently have a Corsair TX850 PSU. It is not modular. Would I be able to fit it in the Node 304? The size of the PSU is not the problem. The cable mess it. (Attached an image of the PSU)

Even if it is a tight fit, I would try to use it.

Notes:

  • I have confirmation that the Thermalright Silver Arrow Extreme will fit just fine in that case.
  • The Asus Z87I-Pro will also allow the cooler to be installed just fine.
  • I would have to sell the RAM and get new ones as I have 4GBx4 and I want to get 8GBx2.
  • Rest of the components are just fine.

Not being modular you're going to have a tough time getting all those cables in order.

Not having used that specific case but the bitfenix prodigy, i know from experience trying to get all those cables sorted can be a nightmare.

I guess its up to you as to whether you want to go down that road. It'd be fine if you're not too OCD about the whole thing ;p But if you are at all it'll honestly give you a headache trying to get it as you would ideally like it mate.

I guess I will have to hold off this idea then. Don't wanna spend that much money just to change the form factor.
