Corsair, Steelseries, or Razer Peripherals?

i was wondering which would be a better set of peripherals for playing things like wow. first part im trying to chose between is a keyboard. ill give razer cudos because i had issues with my megladons and always got good service. also they have a few things the other company's don't do well. anyways im rough on keyboards and mice and go threw cheep ones every 3 months so im finally looking into quality ones. here is a list of the 3 keyboards and mouse combos i am considering.

Corsair Vengeance K90 & M90

Steelseries Shift Catholicism bundle & WOW Catholicism Mouse

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate stealth & naga epic

i like the clean black and blue design of the razer items. also razer has a true 7.1 headset and a matching Xbox pc controller. i like how the corsair ones have aluminum in there builds for added durability. down side to corsair they haven't made any mouse pads. steel series is branded for my favorite game and has a key set specifically for said game, but keyboard is unlighted and i like to play in 3d vision.

so with all this was wondering if you all might be able to give me good advice.

TY in advance, GamerGirlAlice

If you are looking at buying a mechanical keyboard I would recommend going and trying the different switches if you can, to see which you prefer before buying.

If I was buying a keyboard and mouse combo now I would get the Corsair K90 and the SteelSeries Sensei and a Steelseries 9/4HD mousemat depending how much room you have. The keyboard and mouse get amazing reviews, I am looking to buy the Sensei myself. That said the Corsair M90 mouse isn't a bad buy either.

As for a headset I would look at the Corsair Vengeance 1300 or 1500 depending if you have a sound card or not.

Just to add if you ever have any issues Corsair customer support and RMA service is brilliant.

Hope this helps.

In short: Corsair = Hell yes!, Steelseries = Hell yes!, Razer = no

In more detail: Corsair's K90 is one of the best keyboards for sure. The Steelseries Sensei is the best mouse on sale, and their 6Gv2 is a great keyboard too. Personally, i'd avoid Razer due to poor build quality and because there's much better products out there

I also don't like Razer it just seems overpriced most of the time. The Sensei is definitly one of my choices for the best mouses. As for the keyboard, if you have not already checked out Das Keyboards, I recomend that you do as they make some amazing mechanical keyboards.

Hope this was helpful.

Yeah the Corsair K90 keyboard is definitely the keyboard I'd go for. Mouse-wise you simply have to try a few of them out and see which one suits you best. I love my Logitech G500. As for a mousepad: XFX WarPad. I just got one, and I'd never go back to for example the Steelseries QCK+ I used to have. The armrest is very comfortable indeed.

sad part is i live in a area that doesn't have any thes things on display so i cant go n see what fits best. i admit im a corsair fan girl but ill admit the 2 company i best help from corsair. bought a 800d on amazon and was busted up when i got it and corsair sent me parts to replace busted pieces free. my razer megladons i always had great service on as well. 2 reasons im considering razer is because of the Razer Onza Tournament Edition and the Razer Tiamat 7.1 i want get down the road.

I have a k90 and it is lush. Simple as. I would say im a corsair fanboy aswell psu ram ssd keyboard there aimt that much more they do lol

Just a quick question, besides the back lighting and macro keys, what are the differences between the K90 and K60?

@OP, I would say Steelseries and Corsair are nice. Not so sure on the Corsair mice range though. I have some Razer products and the moment and I agree the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. You might want to check out my video of my previous keyboard (hopefully I don't get as much stick on here as I do on YouTube!) and it's just started to happen with the cheaper Lycosa (no backlights) because the keys aren't laser etched, the letters are just sort of "stuck on" in some way.

I've been looking for good mechanical keyboards for a ling time but the only ones I have been able to try are the 6Gv2 and I didn't like the switches they use, it felt like too much resistance.

k90 is designed for games like world of warcraft and other mmo games. while the k60 is designed more for 1st person shooters. that's the main differences. k60 has rubberized keys for mainly 1st person as well as wrist rest designed for that. where the k90 has full length wrist rest for full board comfort. i hope this helps in your decision Sheza.
