Corsair has announced that they will be creating AM4 compatible mounting brackets for their AIO water coolers, with some coolers already offering AM4 support.

Bunch of bull. The h100i, the second gen they made to the original, is not supported. That's probably there most successful selling one. I seriously can't upgrade to Zen because I have to buy a new cooler all for a bracket

Which model is it? H100i, H100i GTX or H100i v2? Because I swear the original H100i had the square CPU block that uses AMD's mounting clips and the H100i GTX and v2 use the same as each other which will be getting the new upgrade kit. The original H100 however I swear uses AMD's mounting clips so that will fit regardless.

Also WYP with the pricing, Corsair told me the upgrade kit would be free if the cooler is within warranty.

can confirm that the h100 uses the standard motherboard bracket, i wonder if the cooler will still clamp tho with the extra height....

The original H100i. Not the V2.
You had to original release, the one that had a button on the pump to select which pump speed you wanted with 3 white leds. The next one, the H100i, released. That's the one i'm using.

this one? Because if it is, I think it uses AMD's mounting system which fits AM4 fine

Go thank Coolit for that.

Corsair won't make these brackets they will get them from Asetek.

anyone knows if h110 will be compatible with asus Crosshair VI Hero, because at this mb specifications it says that its compatible with am3 coolers.

I have a H110 as well, and did some research about AM4 compatibility.
So Corsair didn't list the H110 as compatible, or even with an upgrade kit, but it has the same pump and mounting as the H55/75/105 which are listed as compatible with an upgrade kit.

So i think it should work on any AM4 board.

Hey, isn't the H115i the latest and greatest cooler?

I just ordered 4 of these to upgrade my 4 hardware/firmware/software development systems to Ryzen. I purchased:

- 4 * Ryzen 7 1800X
- 4 * Corsair H115i cooler
- 4 * ASUS Crosshair VI Hero motherboard
- 16 * GSKILL TridentZ 4266MHz DDR4 SDRAM

Already received the DDR4 and H115i coolers. Why are they not listed as having AM4 support when they are the newest coolers? In fact, why are they not on the list AT ALL?

What's going on here, Corsair?

As an aside, I saw an article that says the ASUS Crosshair VI Hero motherboards that I purchased have holes around the CPU for both AM3+ as well as AM4. What I don't know is... will this let me install the H115i coolers? Will it, Corsair? Anyone?

The AM3+ and AM4 holes in the motherboard are so close together that they literally overlap. So I wonder... do both holes in the motherboard have threaded holes in the backplate on the back of the motherboard (assuming there is a backplate, and hopefully a steel/metal one to pull away heat).

What's the deal here, Corsair?

Can anyone help me figure out what I need to install these H115i coolers?

I'm happy to pay for an accessory adapter kit or whatever, but I don't want to delay my Ryzen build !!!

Create a corsair support account and raise a ticket or live chat with someone to find out. I will be to find out whether the kit for my H100i (v2) is going to be available for launch as well

Should you need the AM3 bracket they are readily available pretty cheaply, you can get them pretty much any where from Newegg, Amazon or eBay I agree they should be supplied with the board out the box but hell at least they included the mounting holes.

Just signed up here to comment on this thread.

I too have a H115i, specifically bought for my ryzen build. Still waiting on asus x370 stocks to come back, will most likely be a month before I can get one in Spain :(

anyway, it's spent a good few hours today trying to figure out what I need to be able to correctly mount my H115i.

I guess I need a AM3+ or AM3 mounting bracket.

Also worth noting that corsair are offering the AM4 bracket for "free"... sounds too good to be true. Post and Packing is 20euro's... Item weight >100grams, they cannot be serious.
