Tom have you got any idea of release date of these to the UK market?

Any chance you could find out if they are shipping as I've got a HX which is crying out for red and an AX that I need white for.

Cheers

Can somebody tell me where i can buy these from. The only place i can find them is on the corsair website and im not paying over £100 for cables.

I bought a set of the red Corsair AX1200 from Corsair direct and it came out to about £92 including shipping. I bought from their US website and they dispatched from the Netherlands so I didn't pay any import fees. They look really nice, Pics:

altho they do look awesome

godammet u corsair i just bought bitfenix cables

Indeed they are pricey. Before these I bought NZXT extension cables and they cost less but only because I bought the PCIe, 24-pin and 8-Pin cables. I didn't get the SATA / Molex etc. But I think if I had done so it would have been about £130. £40 more than Corsairs kit.

I've compared the quality of the Corsair to the NZXT and they look the same to me. The heatshrink is just as good and while the braid used is different they both look good. The NZXT was a bit harder to shape and flex but I'd not really consider that a negative.

One thing is for sure though the AX1200 I have has a 7 year warranty and if it ever dies I'm just going to get a replacement so I think these cables will last me through to 2016 at-least. With that in mind I think I'll get my moneys worth out of them as I would have done with an extension kit that I could move from PSU to PSU. In short I think they are pricey but worth it if you want to go the extra mile on your rigs looks. These are purely a vanity addition.

aye even tho the front side of the inside is nice

i can't but help to annoy myself with the wires behind the motherboard tray

A good effort but rather expensive. Would prefer less heatshrink showing, too. I sleeved my psu, gpu, sata, case fan and fan controller cables with MDPC sleeve and it totalled around the same price. Still, I had to do it myself but at least I wasn't limited to all one colour on a connector. Do it yourself folks, no voiding of warranties either, unless you open the psu.

Anyone in the UK found these anywhere yet other than direct from Corsair?

I looked and looked and couldn't find anyone selling them. I even tried Google shopping which must have indexed over 100 sites in Europe and had no luck. Keep in mind though if you do order direct from Corsair they will be dispatched from the Netherlands so you won't need to pay import VAT on them.

Special Tech seems to be the place to go for most of your custom cooling/cables needs(not from personal experience...YET, but from looking at their site). I recently found this site as I was looking for a sleeved modular cables for my AX750. Very quick delivery too, so I will be keeping them bookmarked for future purchases.
