Corsair or Be-Quiet

I'm building a new rig and will be going crossfire / eyefinity in future.

I'm considering the Corsair 1000 modular My link or the Be-Quiet 1000 modular My link

I Know Corsair make outstanding PSU's and don't know much about Be-Quiet. The spec's on both look good but the Be - quiet gives me some excellent, personal touch, modding ideas. I'll choose performance over looks every time but if all things being equal I would rather go with the Be-Quiet.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I have:

Case - Corsair 800D (that I'm customizing)

Mobo - ASUS Crosshair 4 extreme

CPU - AMD Phenom II 1090T 6x

GPU - ASUS 5970 HD

PSU - undecided

RAM - undecided (most likely Mushkin Redline Ridgeback)

HDD - undecided (Disc or SSD / maybe both)

hmmmm see be quiet, enermax and corsair are all in my top end list (i no you dident mention enermax)

TBH you can not go wrong with ither i would lean slightly to the corsair and my reason is so many good reviews and thoughts from this forum alone,i dont think i have heard one bad thing exep for the v1 1000w modulars

Much appreciated...TYVM

I'd go for corsair but not HX1000W as people had problems with them.If corsair you should buy AX850 or AX1200 one - very quiet and efficient, or Enermax Revolution 1050W.

I'd pick the Be-Quiet! out of those two, because it's more efficient than the HX1000w. Both are top-end PSU brands though, so you can't go wrong with either one.

If you were to say Corsair AX1200w vs Be-Quiet! DPP 1200w I'd say go for Corsair

Read reviews, check the ripple, check the rail ampage and the number of rails ETC. That's the only way to know for sure.
