Does anyone know if it is possible to mount the HG10 to a Gigbyte 760 windforce rev 2.0?

The pcb looks like two screws would not line up, would that make a big difference as its only where the blower style fan should be. Could I use the fan from my reference 780?

I am not able to provide a definite answer. However I would very much advise against doing so unless you are fine with the risks.

Those screws at the back would help secure the heatsink from the HG10 to the vrms etc. Of course you could always ziptie it etc.

Whilst they look similar they don't look identical. If the GPU core holes line up I guess you could always mod it, but you may need to add cooling to the VRMs if that plate doesn't fit them correctly.

In fact talking of VRMs and looking at it again they are completely different. I think Gigabyte have used a 780 PCB when making their WF card. Maybe a good idea would be to take off your WF cooler and look at the underside of it and compare that to the HG10.

What do you mean? The bracket is no bigger than the Corsair one.

It is, it's a triple slot which doesn't fit in his ITX case.

The HG10 MIGHT fit, but some screw holes might not line up and the line of caps down the middle worry me. Worst case scenario you can cut it up and at least use the second mount.

Can also get a universal waterblock and just smash a lot of heatsinks on your card with some Scythe slipstreams or those new thin Silverstone fans in the bottom.
