Hello all, i had a Corsair H80 for my i7 3930k. (Actually cpu still on cargo ,didn't get yet)

I heard a lot thing about Corsair h80-100. I guess it's working loud on high mod. I don't want to continue with stock fan!

So im wondering which fans (quiet and high performance) should i get? have you guys got any suggestions ?

Noctua NF-F12s (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-noctua-nf-f12-pwm-focused-flow-pwm-cooling-fan) They have loads of airflow and very low noise, even silent:)

Noctua make great fans however they need higher of current to run and rather expensive... Did I mention they're uglier too?!!

Personally I'd go with the Gentle Typhoon AP-14 (http://www.scan.co.u...for-replacement )

Whatyoutalkingaboutwillis? they are 2 pound more and I rather like how they look, whereas the scythe fans look boring and cheap. Also the noctua fans are SILENT and they come with many, many shiny accessories

The question is about which is best for a h80, in which case, the noctuas are faster, quieter and push more air, so it's a no brainer really. I'm sure TTL will agree

Noctua fans are fantastic for heat-sinks however but they're not optimized for rads. I'm sure there are many people out there who'd agree, cause if what you said is completely true, why would LCer's choose GT?

Also, just because a fan has higher and faster rotation, it doesn't mean it'll perform better!!
